Children and the elderly should not lift any weights. You need to do exercises that are appropriate for your age.
To get a good result, you need to constantly train. If you go to the gym two or three times a year, or even a month, then such “training” will not lead to anything.

You can also work out at home, then you do not need to go to the gym. You can even train with the whole family.

If you don’t have the money to hire a professional trainer, don’t despair. It is quite possible to try to master everything on your own.
